White Paper on MSA

The Modular Supercomputing Architecture (MSA) is at the heart of the SEA projects – the projects DEEP-SEA, IO-SEA and RED-SEA that joined forces to develop complementary European technologies for exascale supercomputing.

ETP4HPC recently published a White Paper that is a good overview of the MSA initially developed by the DEEP projects. If you want to know more about the MSA, don’t miss it!

RED-SEA supports the MSA. In the MSA, BXI is the HPC fabric within each compute module, delivering low-latency, high bandwidth and all required HPC features, whereas Ethernet is the high-performance federative network that offers interface to storage and with other compute modules. RED-SEA will design a seamless interface between BXI and Ethernet via a new Gateway solution.
